Don’t let the word exercise scare you! It’s fun. All the way from taking a leisurely stroll or bike ride to tossing the football or frisbee, or up to a full scale work out with an instructor and students…
Go to a park, beach, school campus church parking lot ( ask for permission). If you are invited for an outside exercise class say YES. Don’t let that voice in your head start saying things like, “I won’t know anyone”, “I’m not good at……..”, “people will be looking at me”,. All of that is just silly mind chatter. Tell that roommate in your head to be quiet and go out and have some fun!
And singles, you will meet some great people outside in the Great Wide Open. In fact you might meet someone that wouldn’t be your first choice to spend time with and then all of a sudden you find yourself having a great time with them. You will discover that the sun shines on everyone.
Be prepared, you know just like the other outdoor couples activities. Water, hat, sunglasses, blanket, yoga mat, towel, sweat shirt or jacket to put on after the workout. If you’re looking for an outside exercise couple’s activity that can accommodate different ages, men and women, and different backgrounds, try yoga. It’s a great workout and a good yoga instructor can handle all different levels in a class.
Get out with your partner and enjoy some outside exercise. It’s fun!
