Where did you go?

There are so many places to go to enjoy a sunset with your love. From the beach to the mountains and everything in between.

Guess where I ended up? The mountains of Idyllwild California!

My beautiful partner found a cabin online to rent (www.paradisepinesretreat.com). The owners, Larry and Cheryl Phelps call it ”Paradise Pines Retreat” and boy are they right…

It’s a beautiful cabin in tranquil surroundings with amazing sunsets. Larry and Cheryl must love sunsets also. The design of the house is built around the view to the west. With two outside decks that include all the things needed to enjoy a sunset. Lounge chairs, tables with umbrellas, and my favorite, a barbecue!

The inside of the cabin is very comfy and beautifully decorated. Everything you could ever need to enjoy a romantic stay in the mountains was thought of.

The nearby town of Idyllwild is very fun to visit or to just get supplies – you know, something for the barbecue while you enjoy the sunset with your partner.

There are plenty of places in the Idyllwild area to see and explore, however this cabin is so comfy that we stayed in most of the weekend to reconnect.

The best sunset and time with your love can be right at your home. Any place you find peace and contentment with your love is the right place to be.
